Hold the booze and stay hydrated this summer with this Cucumber Limeade.
It’s the middle of May and it is HOT! HOT! HOT! Temperatures here in Florida are reaching the 90’s already. ??? It’s all good though because you can mix up a couple of pitchers of Cucumber Limeade. It’s refreshing and tangy which is perfect for cooling off from this Florida heat. I’m holding out on the booze this time because last weekend was just party, party, party! It was my birthday, cinco de mayo, and my best-friend’s college graduation all packed into one weekend. It’s safe to say that the only thing we did for 4 days straight was eat and drink. ? (You’re only 23 once, right?)
Anyways! This drink recipe is super simple. All you need is cucumber juice, lime, water, and stevia. This recipe makes about 1 liter of limeade. To make the cucumber juice, blend the cucumber with a little water (~1/3 cup) until smooth, then pass the cucumber puree through a fine mesh strainer and set aside.
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup cucumber juice
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1 1/2 tsp truvia or stevia
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and stir until evenly mixed. Serve over ice.
